The Burlingame Library Foundation preserves and enhances the Burlingame Public Library's vital role within the community through advocacy and raising funds to supplement City library support.
These funds are dedicated to providing financial support for:
- Collection enhancement
- Community access to the most current information technology
- Programs for all ages that contribute to an enriched community life
- Improvement and preservation of the historic buildings and interiors
How to Make a Donation
The Library Foundation is a 501(c)(3) private non-profit corporation registered in the State of California (Tax ID #94-3220365).
Donations may be made online or by check addressed to the Burlingame Library Foundation at 480 Primrose Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. Gifts of stock or bonds are also welcome and can be arranged by viewing details on Ways to Give or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org . For those involved in personal estate or financial planning, the Foundation offers a convenient way to make a lasting contribution to the community through planned giving. The Library Foundation accepts books of all types (EXCEPT ENCYCLOPEDIAS) including novels, non-fiction, reference books, hard-back & soft back. We gladly accept donations of media including DVD’s and CD’s. The proceeds from the sales are returned to the library in the form of donations for other library needs. Your donations are an important part of the overall support we are able to provide the library each year.
Donors of liquid assets are recognized annually in our Annual Report. Escoffier Society donors, generous individuals who have made a significant lifetime contribution, planned gift, or who have included the Burlingame Library Foundation in their estate plans, are recognized on this website
